I love this girl so much!
Lately, I feel so guilty that I haven’t been the mother that I feel like I should be.
I have said it countless times before and I will say it again…
I spend way to much time on the computer!!!
I’m working on finding a good balance and getting things more organized.
It’s happening…slowly, but its happening.
I realized the other day when I was writing a post how much I have missed actually writing about my daily events and my kids. The whole reason I started this blog in the first place. Somewhere along the way it ended up being all about photography or just posting pictures.
But to be honest, that is pretty much what my life has been all about or revolved around since I embarked on the whole business end of it all.
Since last October I was in this overwhelming whirlwind…don’t get me wrong, I am very thankful for all that has happened but I am also enjoying the way it has slowed down. I need this time to build back the family foundation, learn more about photography-the creative and the business side of it and most importantly work on myself. (myself requires a lot of work)
So in order to write a bit more-document my life, I’m going to focus my project 365 on what I did, or what we did, or whatever exciting happened on that day-if anything, etc. Some days it might just be a picture of something random but for the most part it will tell a story…and hopefully in a creative way. Because those are the kinds of photos I really love…the ones that tell a story.
And hopefully this will help me spend more time with my family and most importantly her…

THAT my friend, is a FABOULOUS way to approach the 365! I love the idea! And I love the pictures of your beauty.

She's absolutely gorgeous. Love her eyes. Good luck finding balance. I think it's a constant struggle.

Your pictures are amazing, and you have alot of talent that should not be wasted. I know exactly what you mean by trying to balance both worlds without feeling selfish. To create a world in which you can be the perfect mom, and a happy "self" is undoubtedly every mom's goal. I am reading a book called "Life Makeover" that I find helpful, and I thought I would mention it. No affiliation whatsoever. The other thing I wanted to mention is that I have spent the last few months organizing my house, in order to spend more time with the three things I love - my children, my husband and my hobbies. I hope you find what you are looking for, and in the meantime, thank you for sharing with us your wonderful gift of photography.

Your photos are gorgeous! She has the most stunning blue-green eyes. It's so hard to find a balance between doing what love to do and loving your children. You're not alone. Many moms struggle with it.

Good Luck!
All photos tell a story, the trick is are they telling the story we want them to?
